Disembark for the Ozark mountains and our first stop Mountain Home, Arkansas and the Ozarks Folk Center. Dive into a culture of handcrafted goods and unique music surrounded by artisans and charming crafts. Continue to Little Rock, AR and a Sunrise Tours favorite, The Edgemont House, for a private tour and dinner. Check into comfortable accommodations nearby for a 2-night stay. D

Spend the day in Hot Springs, Arkansas famous for three types of people; athletes, gangsters, and tourists. Dip your arm in the hot springs and join the history of Spring Training Baseball players who journey to the hot springs to ease their aches and pains. One of the most unique places in the Midwest, the city of Hot Springs overflows with character. Return to Little Rock for a visit to the William J. Clinton Presidential Library and Museum, including a special dinner overlooking downtown Little Rock. B, D

Continue our journey through Arkansas as we head to Altus, AR, perfectly located on the path of the Total Solar Eclipse. Plan to enjoy best and longest view of the Total Solar Eclipse, from approach, totality, and final shadow. We’ll be treated to a picnic lunch by St. Mary’s Catholic Church, a special landmark for the community and part of the National Historic Register for over 100 years. After our cosmic experience, continue to Fort Smith, AR for a two-night stay. B, L

Fort Smith has a long history of being on the edge of the frontier. Dive into that history today with a visit to Fort Smith History Museum and immediately next door, the Fort Smith National Historic Site. Newly opened on the banks of the Arkansas River, the state-of-the-art U.S. Marshals Museum celebrates the long history of the United States Marshals Service, from George Washington’s appointment to present day operations. B, D

Depart Fort Smith as we head our way back to St. Louis, but not before an insightful stop at Crystal Bridges Museum. Our guided tour takes us around the grounds to get a grasp of the unique architecture and inside their one of kind art collection. Arrive back in St. Louis that evening. B

Important Information

Each reservation requires a $250 per person deposit planning fee (exceptions may apply) to be credited toward your final payment. Some or all of your deposit may be non-refundable per our cancellation schedule noted in these Terms & Conditions below. We are happy to accept cash, check (preferred) or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover) for your deposit.

Orange luggage tags are provided and are to be placed on your “checked luggage” (large bag). You do not need a tag for your carry-on bag, for which you will be responsible for taking on and off the coach. There is limited space in the cabin of the coach, so unless you require your carry-on bag while traveling, we will stow it in the luggage compartment.

On the first and last nights of this tour, you are welcome to pack your carry-on bag with essentials that would enable us to leave your “checked bag” on the coach. This will facilitate faster check-in and luggage delivery. This is not a requirement, merely a suggestion; we will deliver your “checked bag” to your room on the first and last night if you desire, just like every other night of the tour.
