About Us

Why Sunrise Tours?

Sunrise Tours is a family-owned and -operated group tourism company, first started by Jim and Charlene Dalrymple in the basement of their St. Louis County home in 1993 – although their first tour did not materialize until 1994. Now run by their son, Brent, Sunrise Tours has flourished into a successful group tour operator, taking pride in its service to the St. Louis area and beyond.

In recognition of our incredible repeat guests, we are excited to offer the Sunrise Tours Loyalty Discount!

On your second tour within the same calendar year (of 4 days or more), take $100 per person off your tour fare. On your third tour, take $150 off person, and so on. The more you travel, the more you save!

Mobility Notice

Sunrise Tours designs and paces our tours with the retirement-aged traveler in mind. However, every traveler’s abilities and comfort levels are different, and some tours are more active than others.

To fully enjoy your vacation, you should be in good physical health and able to participate independently in the activities included on your tour.

Tours requiring a higher level of activity will be noted with “Excellent Mobility Required” in the tour information. If you have difficulty walking, balance concerns, or other mobility limitations, we encourage you to speak with your physician and our staff before booking. We are happy to discuss the activity level, walking distances, and terrain for any tour.

While walking canes are permitted, Sunrise Tours is unable to accommodate travelers using walkers, wheelchairs, scooters, or other mobility devices. Travelers must be able to board and exit the motorcoach independently and keep pace with the group throughout the tour.
