Born and raised in Central Indiana, Dane met a Missouri country girl while working in the Rocky Mountains on a guest ranch in Granby, CO. Over 40 years later, Dane and Gina now live in DeSoto, MO, and have 2 adult sons. They enjoy camping, hiking and riding (both horses and motorcycles).

Dane has a wide variety of work history, such as running an Agricultural Newspaper, IndyCar, Radio, Live TV, IT Managed Services, and has even been a Registered Farrier. Most recently, he was a motorcoach driver traveling the U.S. and Canada, including driving for many Sunrise Tours. Dane loves to help people learn more about the places they're visiting.
