Victoria’s career in tourism began at Maupin Tour in Lawrence, KS, where she was responsible for planning group tours to far off destinations including Scandinavia, South America and Egypt. Her favorite destination is Peru and especially the hidden city of Machu Picchu! She joined of the team at McKinzie Tours of Kansas City almost 10 years ago, helping make McKinzie the premier group tour operator in the area. On working with Sunrise Tours, she says; “I am so thrilled now to be a member of the Sunrise family and excited that we can offer many different destinations to all our special Kansas City clients.”
Victoria was born and raised in Kansas and as a child she always wanted a horse. Her dream came true later as she ended up with 3 Arabian horses and even received a ribbon when showing at the American Royal in Kansas City. Since high school she became fascinated with the Doberman breed and now she has two wonderful dogs…Mia and Frankie. Also she loves to exercise and takes Zumba and Yogalates classes throughout the week. Then during warmer weather she is off on her mountain bike hitting the trails.
