DAY 3: EMBARK

Start your day with a beignet from Café du Monde before heading to the National World War II Museum, a world-class museum campus that tells the story of the American experience in the “war that changed the world.” This afternoon, board your home for the next seven nights, the newly renovated Norwegian Breakaway, as it sets sail into the western Caribbean. You’ll experience fine dining, entertainment, beautiful scenery, and new cultures from five different ports! B, D

DAY 4: DAY AT SEA

Spend the day at sea and experience all that the Norwegian Breakaway has to offer. Enjoy relaxing services such as the Mandara Spa, with over 50 specialty treatments offered. Take a stroll along the Waterfront Promenade with more than a dozen specialty restaurants, plus a variety of performances from big Broadway-style showstoppers to intimate cabaret theater, as well as the latest in interactive game shows. DAY 5: COZUMEL, MEXICO

Bienvenido a México, beautiful Cozumel awaits you! Discover one of the most popular destinations in the Caribbean, Cozumel! Located off the eastern coast of Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula, Cozumel’s sunny and tropical climate combined with the rich history of Mayan civilization draws in beach-goers and adventure-seekers alike. Venture out to the area’s most renowned archaeological ruins or enjoy traditional Mayan cuisine and cacao. B, L, D

DAY 6: HARVEST CAYE, BELIZE

Spread across two islands, the 75-acre Harvest Caye is the only port in Belize to feature a cruise ship pier and caters specifically to Norwegian Cruise Lines. Travelers will experience the renowned natural beauty of Belize in its rainforests, swamps, and coral reefs. DAY 7: ROATAN (BAY ISLANDS), HONDURAS

Beautiful and unspoiled, Roatan is a nature-lover’s dream just 30 miles off the coast of Honduras. Teeming with marine life, this pristine Honduran reef is home to some of the best pillar coral in the Caribbean. Relax on Tabyana Beach or choose from a variety of shore excursions. B, L, D

DAY 8: COSTA MAYA, MEXICO

Costa Maya is the second largest port in Mexico, and it is the only port designed specifically for cruise ships! This coastal paradise in the Yucatan features stunning beaches with soft sand and blue waters. Enjoy an optional shore excursion, such as a visit to the Mayan ruins. DAY 9: DAY AT SEA

Today, enjoy another day at sea as you return to the U.S. Stay active at the Aqua Waterpark or in the Pulse Fitness Center, cross off your souvenir shopping list at the on-board gift shops, or unwind at one of the ship’s many bars and lounges. The day is yours! B, L, D

Mobility Note
Mobility requirements will vary based on the shore excursions selected. Guests should review each excursion’s activity level carefully, as some may include beaches, boats, uneven terrain, steps or extended walking. The ship itself is large, and reaching restaurants, entertainment venues and gangways may require considerable walking.

Time Zone
Port times may differ from local time. Always follow the ship’s clock and the “all aboard” time announced onboard rather than relying on a phone that may automatically change time zones.

Currency
U.S. dollars are commonly accepted in the cruise ports. The official currencies are the Mexican peso in Cozumel and Costa Maya, the Belize dollar in Harvest Caye and the Honduran lempira in Roatan. Small U.S. bills are helpful for minor purchases and gratuities.

Packing Tips
Pack lightweight clothing, comfortable walking shoes, swimwear, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat and a light rain jacket. Bring a sweater or wrap for air-conditioned dining rooms and theaters. Norwegian follows a relaxed resort-casual dress style, although guests may enjoy bringing a slightly dressier outfit for specialty dining or an evening out.

Stateroom Note
Staterooms have limited electrical outlets and storage space. Consider bringing a European outlet adapter to make use of the additional outlet, along with magnetic hooks or a compact organizer. Standard U.S. 110-volt outlets are available onboard, and hair dryers are provided.

Hotel Note
The Embassy Suites is an all-suite hotel located in New Orleans’ Arts and Warehouse District, near the National WWII Museum, the Convention Center and the cruise terminal. Its location provides convenient access to the attractions included before embarkation.

Notes on Highlights
Sailing round-trip from New Orleans allows guests to experience a seven-night international cruise without navigating airports or airline luggage restrictions. Sunrise handles the motorcoach journey, pre-cruise hotel stay and transportation to and from the ship.

March falls within the Western Caribbean’s drier season, offering warm weather that is generally well suited for beaches, sightseeing, snorkeling and outdoor excursions.

Harvest Caye is Norwegian Cruise Line’s private destination, allowing guests to walk directly from the ship onto the island rather than using a tender boat.

Norwegian’s Freestyle Cruising concept does not assign guests a fixed dining time or dining table. Guests can choose when and where to dine each evening, making it easier to plan meals around shows, activities and time in port.

The onboard shore-excursion team can help guests compare activity levels and select experiences that match their interests and physical abilities. Excursions can range from relaxed sightseeing and beach breaks to snorkeling, boating and visits to Maya archaeological sites.

Tour Communications: You will receive three key communications leading up to your tour:

• Get Ready: Your email confirmation and initial tour information, sent after you register.
• Get Set: An email with additional tour details, sent approximately two months before departure.
• Go: Your final trip documents, mailed via USPS approximately three to four weeks before departure. This packet will include your daily itinerary, luggage tags, and final departure information.

Travel Protection: Travel Protection is optional but highly recommended and may be purchased until the day before departure. Sunrise Tours offers plans through battleface. Additional information will be included with your Get Ready email and can also be found HERE.

Inclusions: Unless otherwise noted, your Sunrise Tour includes:

Gratuities: We believe tipping is a personal and discretionary interaction between our guests and staff. A typical gratuity for your Sunrise Tour Director and motorcoach driver is $6 to $10 per person, per day of the tour. Sunrise Shuttle drivers also appreciate gratuities for excellent service, with a suggested amount of $5 per person. Our staff will not solicit gratuities or distribute gratuity envelopes.

Refreshments: We are happy to provide refreshments on most motorcoach travel days. We also recommend bringing a refillable water bottle to help you stay hydrated throughout your tour.

Pickup Points: If fewer than four travelers request a particular pickup point, we may ask those guests to select another available pickup location. Travelers are also welcome to join a tour from a city that is not listed as a departure point. Please contact our friendly reservations team to discuss available arrangements. For departure cities not listed, airfare is typically $100 more than the published fare for domestic tours and $200 more for international tours.

TSA PreCheck and Airline Rewards Numbers: TSA PreCheck, Known Traveler Numbers, and airline rewards numbers must be provided to our reservations team at least 60 days before departure. Numbers received after this deadline may not be applied to your reservation.

Airline Seating: Preferred seating may not be available with group airfare. In some cases, seats are not assigned until travelers arrive at the airport. Your tour fare includes an economy-class seat but does not include advance seat selection. Seat upgrades may be available for an additional cost.

Motorcoach Capacity and Seating: To provide one of the most comfortable motorcoach experiences in the industry, Sunrise Tours generally limits motorcoaches to 80% capacity. This allows for a maximum of 44 passengers on a motorcoach designed to accommodate 55. Sunrise Tours reserves the right to amend this practice. Your Tour Director will rotate motorcoach seating each day of the tour. Payment of a single-occupancy fare does not guarantee two motorcoach seats, and you may be seated beside another friendly Sunrise Tours guest.
