Holiday Brass Concert

This year’s Holiday Brass Concert promises festive cheer with returning favorites: Christine Brewer performing “O Holy Night,” the majestic Alphorns, musicians from the Saint Louis Caledonian Pipe Band, Susan Slaughter leading the Holiday Brass ensemble and MUMC Chancel Choir in beloved carols, and a joyful prelude from the Clayton High School Marimba Ensemble under Noah Petti. Since its founding in 1992 by retired St. Louis Symphony principal trumpet Susan Slaughter, the concert has filled the season with music and goodwill—raising funds for the International Women’s Brass Conference while shining a spotlight on the remarkable achievements of women brass musicians. Following the concert, enjoy lunch as a group at the Corner Pub and Grill in Chesterfield before concluding the day.
