Join your Sunrise Tour Director for an optional evening stroll through this charming neighborhood, glowing with twinkling lights and holiday cheer. DAY 2: ROCKEFELLER PLAZA/ROCKETTES/CHRISTMAS MARKET
After breakfast, dive headfirst into New York’s most beloved holiday traditions! Stand in awe before the iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, then experience the high-kicking magic of the Radio City Rockettes’ Christmas Spectacular. Enjoy lunch at a classic Big Apple spot before wandering through the cozy, European-style Bryant Park Christmas Market, filled with artisan vendors and winter treats. DAY 3: RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL/MANHATTAN CRUISE/STATUE OF LIBERTY
Begin today with a visit to the awe-inspiring St. Patrick’s Cathedral, followed by a behind-the-scenes tour of Radio City Music Hall, including a special meet-and-greet with a Rockette! Then, take to the water for a Manhattan sightseeing cruise, complete with lunch on board, as you admire sweeping views of the skyline, bridges, and the Statue of Liberty. This evening, explore at your own pace—perhaps catch a Lincoln Center performance, spend some time shopping on Fifth Avenue, or enjoy a peaceful walk beneath the Upper West Side’s sparkling holiday lights. DAY 4: WORLD TRADE CENTER MEMORIAL/BROADWAY
This morning brings a deeply moving experience at the World Trade Center site. Visit St. Paul’s Chapel, then spend time at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, a powerful tribute told through personal stories, media, and artifacts. Across the street from the Beacon Hotel is Fairway Market, an iconic NYC grocery store that guests love to browse during free time.
The Beacon is a 3-minute walk to a Subway station from which you can take the 1 train downtown to Lincoln Center, Times Square, SOHO, Greenwich Village, or Battery Park, or uptown to the Cloisters Museum.
Just a few years ago, NYC’s LaGuardia Airport was known as the worst airport in the US. After an $8 billion renovation (work on which was sped along during the travel doldrums of COVID-19) it is now recognized as one of the best in the world.
This tour includes a showing of the Broadway hit Operation Mincemeat. This musical is based on the true story of a WWII deception operation. The show tells the story of how a British intelligence used a dead body and a fictional love letter to trick the Nazis. The musical is known for its blend of humor, history, and catchy tunes. Walking Distance
Extensive walking will be required to get the most of your exploration of the Big Apple. Past guests have walked over 5 miles in a day exploring NYC with Sunrise Tours, so bring your walking shoes! Walking in New York City includes weaving through large crowds and keeping up with the Tour Director. While walking canes are allowed, we are unable to accommodate travelers using other mobility devices, including walkers, scooters, or wheelchairs.

All rooms feature a fully-equipped kitchenette, marble bathroom with hair dryer, an iron and board, electronic safe, Keurig coffee maker, complimentary high-speed Internet, and The New York Times newspaper. The hotel features a bar, business center (24/7), and fitness center (24/7).

We will send 3 key communications for your tour; “Get Ready” is your email confirmation and initial tour information sent upon registration, “Get Set” email will be sent about two months before departure, “Go” trip documentation mailing is sent via USPS 3-4 weeks before departure and will include your daily itinerary, luggage tags and final departure information.
Travel Protection is optional and highly recommended and can be purchased until the day before departure. We offer Travel Guard from AIG, which costs 8.5% of your tour, information about which will be sent with your Get Ready email.
Unless otherwise noted, your Sunrise Tour includes: Professional Sunrise Tour Director, meals as indicated, local step on guides including gratuity (international tour guide gratuity inclusion vary by tour), deluxe motorcoach transportation w/rest room, admission to activities and events as indicated, airfare from designated airports, transportation to/from designated airports from our convenient local pickup points*, luggage handling at hotels when available
We believe tipping is a personal and discretionary interaction between our guests and our staff. A typical gratuity for your Sunrise Tour Director and motorcoach driver may be $5-$7 per person, per day on tour. Sunrise Shuttle drivers appreciate gratuities (suggest $5 per person) for excellent service as well. Our staff will not solicit gratuities or pass out envelopes.
We are happy to offer refreshments on most motorcoach travel days on tour. We recommend you bring a refillable water bottle to maintain healthy hydration.
If less than 4 people request a pickup point, we may ask that you choose another pickup point from which to join your Sunrise Tour.
If you would like to join a tour from a city not listed as a departure point, we would love to have you along! Please discuss arrangements with our friendly reservation team. From a departure city not listed, typical airfare will be +$100 higher than our published fare for domestic tours, and +$200 for international tours.
If you have a TSA precheck or Airline Rewards numbers, you MUST give those numbers to our reservations team at least 60 days before departure, otherwise they may not be applied.
Preferred seating may not be available on group air. In some cases, seats are not assigned until the airport. Your tour fare includes an economy seat on the flight; it does not include seat selection. Seat upgrades may be available at an additional cost.
To help make our tours the most comfortable in the business, we limit Sunrise Tours motorcoaches to 80% capacity, or 44 passengers on a coach built for 55. We reserve the right to amend this practice.
Your Tour Director will rotate seats on the motorcoach each day of your tour. A single fare does not guarantee two seats on the coach; you may be seated next to another friendly Sunrise Tours guest.
