DAY 1: WELCOME TO NEW YORK CITY!

Arrive in the Big Apple and set out on a guided tour showcasing the iconic landmarks, vibrant neighborhoods, and cultural treasures of New York City. Later, settle in for a four-night stay then head to dinner and enjoy getting acquainted with your fellow travelers. D

DAY 2: EMPIRE STATE BUILDING, 9/11 MEMORIAL & MUSEUM

Today, begin your adventure with a visit to the iconic Empire State Building, where breathtaking panoramic views await from its world-famous observation deck. This afternoon, take time to reflect as you explore the moving tributes and commemorative sites surrounding Lower Manhattan. Visit historic St. Paul’s Chapel, known for serving as a place of rest and support for recovery workers and the powerful 9/11 Memorial & Museum, offering a meaningful look at the city’s resilience. B, D

DAY 3: STATUE OF LIBERTY, BROADWAY

Travel by subway to Battery Park, and board a scenic ferry across New York Harbor for a visit to the majestic Statue of Liberty and her iconic Pedestal. Continue to Ellis Island to explore the American Immigrant Wall of Honor and the National Museum of Immigration, which shares the inspiring stories of those who helped shape America’s diverse heritage. This evening, stroll along Broadway’s legendary “Great White Way” before enjoying a dazzling Broadway production. B, D

DAY 4: FREE DAY TO EXPLORE NYC

Today is yours to experience the excitement of New York City at your own pace or join your Tour Director to visit a must-see attraction. Optional activities allow you to customize your perfect day, from exploring The High Line, Hudson Yards, or The Metropolitan Museum of Art to shopping along Fifth Avenue, or strolling across the historic Brooklyn Bridge. This evening, enjoy a memorable farewell dinner as you share stories from your unforgettable New York adventure. B, D

DAY 5: RETURN HOME

Return home with great memories of the city that never sleeps. B

Helpful Hints
Across the street from the Beacon Hotel is Fairway Market, an iconic NYC grocery store that guests love to browse during free time.

The Courtyard Manhattan Central Park is conveniently located near many Midtown sites and just a short walk away from Columbus Circle and Central Park.

Just a few years ago, NYC’s LaGuardia Airport was known as the worst airport in the US. After an $8 billion renovation (work on which was sped along during the travel doldrums of COVID-19) it is now recognized as one of the best in the world.

Tip: Think about how you want to spend your free day ahead of time and ask your Sunrise Tour Director or our local NYC Step-On Guide for advice about how best to plan your day. Most tickets need to be purchased in advance.

Hotel Amenities
All rooms feature a fully-equipped kitchenette, marble bathroom with hair dryer, an iron and board, electronic safe, Keurig coffee maker, complimentary high-speed Internet, and The New York Times newspaper. The hotel features a bar, business center (24/7), and fitness center (24/7).

Walking Distance
Extensive walking will be required to get the most of your exploration of the Big Apple. Past guests have walked over 5 miles in a day exploring NYC with Sunrise Tours, so bring your walking shoes! Walking in New York City includes weaving through large crowds and keeping up with the Tour Director. While walking canes are allowed, we are unable to accommodate travelers using other mobility devices, including walkers and wheelchairs.

Other General Information
Tour Communications: You will receive three key communications leading up to your tour:

• Get Ready: Your email confirmation and initial tour information, sent after you register.

• Get Set: An email with additional tour details, sent approximately two months before departure.

• Go: Your final trip documents, mailed via USPS approximately three to four weeks before departure. This packet will include your daily itinerary, luggage tags, and final departure information.

Travel Protection: Travel Protection is optional but highly recommended and may be purchased until the day before departure. Sunrise Tours offers plans through battleface. Additional information will be included with your Get Ready email and can also be found HERE.

Inclusions: Unless otherwise noted, your Sunrise Tour includes:

• A professional Sunrise Tour Director

• Meals as indicated in the itinerary

• Local step-on guides, including gratuities

• International tour guide gratuities when specified for the individual tour

• Deluxe motorcoach transportation with an onboard restroom

• Admission to activities and events as indicated

• Airfare from designated airports

• Transportation to and from designated airports from our convenient local pickup points*

• Luggage handling at hotels when available

Gratuities: We believe tipping is a personal and discretionary interaction between our guests and staff. A typical gratuity for your Sunrise Tour Director and motorcoach driver is $6 to $10 per person, per day of the tour. Sunrise Shuttle drivers also appreciate gratuities for excellent service, with a suggested amount of $5 per person. Our staff will not solicit gratuities or distribute gratuity envelopes.

Refreshments: We are happy to provide refreshments on most motorcoach travel days. We also recommend bringing a refillable water bottle to help you stay hydrated throughout your tour.

Pickup Points: If fewer than four travelers request a particular pickup point, we may ask those guests to select another available pickup location. Travelers are also welcome to join a tour from a city that is not listed as a departure point. Please contact our friendly reservations team to discuss available arrangements. For departure cities not listed, airfare is typically $100 more than the published fare for domestic tours and $200 more for international tours.

TSA PreCheck and Airline Rewards Numbers: TSA PreCheck, Known Traveler Numbers, and airline rewards numbers must be provided to our reservations team at least 60 days before departure. Numbers received after this deadline may not be applied to your reservation.

Airline Seating: Preferred seating may not be available with group airfare. In some cases, seats are not assigned until travelers arrive at the airport. Your tour fare includes an economy-class seat but does not include advance seat selection. Seat upgrades may be available for an additional cost.

Motorcoach Capacity and Seating: To provide one of the most comfortable motorcoach experiences in the industry, Sunrise Tours generally limits motorcoaches to 80% capacity. This allows for a maximum of 44 passengers on a motorcoach designed to accommodate 55. Sunrise Tours reserves the right to amend this practice. Your Tour Director will rotate motorcoach seating each day of the tour. Payment of a single-occupancy fare does not guarantee two motorcoach seats, and you may be seated beside another friendly Sunrise Tours guest.
