DAY 2: EXPLORING SEATTLE
Begin the day with breathtaking views from Seattle’s iconic Space Needle before visiting the dazzling Chihuly Garden and Glass. Enjoy free time for lunch and exploration at historic Pike Place Market, one of the Nation’s oldest and most beloved public markets. This afternoon, discover Seattle’s fascinating past during a city tour featuring the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park and the Ballard Locks, where migrating salmon navigate the fish ladder. Finish off your day in “The Emerald City” with a delicious group dinner. B, D
DAY 3: NEXT STOP, ASTORIA
Travel south through Washington with a stop at the Mount St. Helens Visitor Center where you’ll learn about the devastating 1980 eruption that forever changed the landscape. In Astoria, OR, explore the acclaimed Columbia River Maritime Museum and discover the stories of mariners, Coast Guard rescuers, and Columbia River Bar Pilots who navigated these challenging waters. Enjoy dinner before settling into your hotel overlooking the Columbia River. B, D
DAY 4: CANNON BEACH & THE OREGON COAST
Start the morning at scenic Cannon Beach, home to the iconic Haystack Rock. Continue to the famous Tillamook Creamery, where you’ll enjoy time for lunch and sampling of award- winning dairy products. On a guided tour, discover how the region’s award-winning cheeses are crafted as you watch production from the viewing gallery. This afternoon, visit picturesque Depoe Bay, known as the Whale Watching Capital of the Oregon Coast, and keep watch for gray whales that frequent these waters. Later, arrive in Newport for a relaxing two-night stay at the oceanfront Hallmark Resort, where every room features a private ocean-view balcony. B, D
DAY 5: WHALES, LIGHTHOUSES, & OCEAN WONDERS
This morning, board the Discovery for a naturalist-led marine wildlife cruise along the Oregon coast. Keep your camera ready for whales, seals, seabirds, and spectacular coastal scenery. Back on shore, enjoy free time along Newport’s historic waterfront before visiting the renowned Oregon Coast Aquarium. Complete the day with a visit to Yaquina Head Lighthouse, Oregon’s tallest lighthouse. This evening, gather around a beachfront bonfire complete with s’mores back at your hotel (weather permitting). DAY 6: COASTAL SAND DUNE
Visit beautiful Heceta Head Lighthouse, widely regarded as the most photographed lighthouse on the Pacific Coast. Continue south to Florence where an exciting dune buggy ride takes you across the towering sand dunes that define this unique stretch of coastline. Later, arrive in Brookings for dinner and an overnight stay near the California border. B, D
DAY 7: AMONG THE REDWOODS
Today is dedicated to some of the world’s most awe-inspiring forests. Cross the border into California’s redwood country and experience the grandeur of these ancient giants. Enjoy a gondola ride at Trees of Mystery before visiting Redwood National and State Parks and Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park, home to some of the tallest trees on Earth. Later, enjoy free time in Eureka, CA, before gathering for dinner and an overnight stay. B, D
DAY 8: AVENUE OF THE GIANTS
Travel the legendary Avenue of the Giants, one of America’s most scenic drives. Towering redwoods line the route as we make our way through Humboldt Redwoods State Park. Enjoy a guided walk among the largest remaining stand of old-growth coastal redwoods in the world and gain a deeper appreciation for these remarkable natural wonders. This evening, arrive in San Francisco for a two- night stay in the heart of Fisherman’s Wharf. B, D
DAY 9: SAN FRANCISCO BAY
Discover the highlights of San Francisco on a guided city tour, featuring iconic neighborhoods and Golden Gate Park. Enjoy leisure time in the charming waterfront community of Sausalito before returning to the city for a narrated Golden Gate Bay Cruise. Sail beneath the Golden Gate Bridge and past storied Alcatraz Island while enjoying spectacular views of the San Francisco skyline. Tonight, enjoy a free evening to explore Fisherman’s Wharf and dine at your own pace. B
DAY 10: JOURNEY HOME
Following breakfast, bid farewell to the Pacific Coast as you head home with wonderful memories of the Northwest Coast. B

Other General Information
We will send 3 key communications for your tour; “Get Ready” is your email confirmation and initial tour information sent upon registration, “Get Set” email will be sent about two months before departure, “Go” trip documentation mailing is sent via USPS 3-4 weeks before departure and will include your daily itinerary, luggage tags, and final departure information.
Travel Protection is optional but highly recommended and can be purchased until the day before departure. We offer plans through battleface, information about which will be sent with your Get Ready email or can be found HERE.
Unless otherwise noted, your Sunrise Tour includes: Professional Sunrise Tour Director, meals as indicated, local step on guides including gratuity (international tour guide gratuity inclusion vary by tour), deluxe motorcoach transportation with onboard restroom, admission to activities and events as indicated, airfare from designated airports, transportation to/from designated airports from our convenient local pickup points*, luggage handling at hotels when available
We believe tipping is a personal and discretionary interaction between our guests and our staff. A typical gratuity for your Sunrise Tour Director and motorcoach driver may be $6-10 per person, per day on tour. Sunrise Shuttle drivers appreciate gratuities (suggest $5 per person) for excellent service as well. Our staff will not solicit gratuities or pass out envelopes.
We are happy to offer refreshments on most motorcoach travel days on tour. We recommend you bring a refillable water bottle to maintain healthy hydration.
If less than 4 people request a pickup point, we may ask that you choose another pickup point from which to join your Sunrise Tour.
If you would like to join a tour from a city not listed as a departure point, we would love to have you! Please discuss arrangements with our friendly reservation team. From a departure city not listed, typical airfare will be +$100 higher than our published fare for domestic tours, and +$200 for international tours.
If you have a TSA precheck or Airline Rewards numbers, you MUST give those numbers to our reservations team at least 60 days before departure, otherwise they may not be applied.
Preferred seating may not be available on group air. In some cases, seats are not assigned until the airport. Your tour fare includes an economy seat on the flight; it does not include seat selection. Seat upgrades may be available at an additional cost.
To help make our tours the most comfortable in the business, we limit Sunrise Tours motorcoaches to 80% capacity, or 44 passengers on a coach built for 55. We reserve the right to amend this practice.
Your Tour Director will rotate seats on the motorcoach each day of your tour. A single fare does not guarantee two seats on coach; you may be seated next to another friendly Sunrise Tours guest.
