DAYS 1-2: WELCOME TO MOROCCO!
Arrive in Casablanca, located on Morocco’s Atlantic coast, before traveling to Rabat for lunch and a tour of the capital city of Morocco. Here, see the Chellah Roman ruins, Oudayas Kasbah, Royal Palace, and Medieval Hassan Tower. Later, settle into your hotel before enjoying a Welcome Dinner with your fellow travelers. L, D
DAY 3: ROMAN RUINS OF VOLUBILIS
This morning, visit to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site, on your travels to Fez. Uncover its well-preserved ruins, including impressive stone structures, archways, intricate mosaics, and the remnants of grand villas. Later, check into our hotel for a two-night stay in Fez. DAY 4: EXPLORING FEZ
Spend the day on a tour of Fez, one of the four Imperial Cities of Morocco. Together with your guide, discover sites such as the great Gateway of the Royal Palace and the oldest university in the world. Make a few stops to discuss with local craftsman how pottery, hand woven carpets, and leather goods can be made in the traditional Moroccan style. Tonight, enjoy dinner and entertainment at a local restaurant. B, D
DAY 5: MIDELT/ERFOUD
Today, experience the spectacular views of Morocco’s vast landscape as you make the journey towards Erfoud, often referred to as the “Gateway to the Desert.” This scenic drive is famous for its stunning desert views. Stop in Midelt before arriving at your hotel and enjoying an authentic Moroccan dinner. B, D
DAY 6: THE SAHARA DESERT
Start your day with a relaxing rest and enjoy all the incredible amenities at your hotel. Later, join the group for a visit to the Fossil Factory, a unique attraction that showcases the rich paleontological history of the region. Then, embark on a bucket list experience as you cross the golden sands of the Sahara Desert by camel during a breathtaking sunset. B, L, D
DAY 7: TODRA GORGES
Today, travel to the striking Todra Gorges, where massive limestone cliffs rise 1,000 feet on either side in the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, discover beautiful Kasbahs and Berber villages as you learn about their native culture and traditions. Tonight, gather for a delicious group dinner before another special Moroccan overnight stay. B, D
DAY 8: AIT BENHADDOU
Begin your morning viewing local Kasbahs and Berber villages. Later, enjoy lunch served in Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for being a striking example of the earthen clay architecture of southern Morocco. Take in this historic citadel, where a group of mud buildings are surrounded by high walls in the tradition of a Saharan habitat. B, L, D
DAY 9: TOURING MARRAKECH
Today begins with a sightseeing tour of Marrakech, the pearl of the south, as you discover this imperial city founded in the 11th century with a local guide. Visits will include the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, Pasha Museum, Jewish quarter “Mellah,” Beth-El Synagogue, and Menara Garden. Tonight, experience dinner and authentic local entertainment. DAY 10: DAY TRIP TO ESSAOUIRA
This morning, depart for a day trip to the coastal city Essaouira, a popular vacation destination known for its Argan Oil production. Make a stop by a women’s cooperative where you will witness the making of Argan oil and other related products before enjoying lunch at a local seafood restaurant. Later, explore Essaouira during free time while taking in some seaside views. B, L, D
DAY 11: CASABLANCA
Your journey is not complete without a visit to Casablanca! Visit the breathtaking Hassan II Mosque, the exterior of the Royal Palace, and the Mohammed V square on a guided city tour. Enjoy lunch on your own as you take in the incredible sea views by the Atlantic coast. Tonight, join us for a farewell dinner where you will “Play it, Sam” at the famous Rick’s Café, based on the beloved 1942 film Casablanca, and owned by a former American diplomat. B, D
DAY 12: RETURN HOME
After breakfast, travel to the airport for your flight home, carrying fond memories of your Moroccan adventure. B

Other General Information
We will send 3 key communications for your tour; “Get Ready” is your email confirmation and initial tour information sent upon registration, “Get Set” mailing will be sent about three months before departure, “Go” trip documentation mailing is sent via USPS 3-4 weeks before departure and will include your daily itinerary, luggage tags, and final departure information.
Travel Protection is optional but highly recommended and can be purchased until the day before departure. We offer plans through battleface, information about which will be sent with your Get Ready email or can be found HERE.
Unless otherwise noted, your Sunrise Tour includes: Professional Sunrise Tour Director, meals as indicated, local step on guides including gratuity (international tour guide gratuity inclusion vary by tour), deluxe motorcoach transportation with onboard restroom, admission to activities and events as indicated, airfare from designated airports, transportation to/from designated airports from our convenient local pickup points*, luggage handling at hotels when available
We believe tipping is a personal and discretionary interaction between our guests and our staff. A typical gratuity for your Sunrise Tour Director and motorcoach driver may be $6-10 per person, per day on tour. Sunrise Shuttle drivers appreciate gratuities (suggest $5 per person) for excellent service as well. Our staff will not solicit gratuities or pass out envelopes.
We are happy to offer refreshments on most motorcoach travel days on tour. We recommend you bring a refillable water bottle to maintain healthy hydration.
If less than 4 people request a pickup point, we may ask that you choose another pickup point from which to join your Sunrise Tour.
If you would like to join a tour from a city not listed as a departure point, we would love to have you! Please discuss arrangements with our friendly reservation team. From a departure city not listed, typical airfare will be +$100 higher than our published fare for domestic tours, and +$200 for international tours.
If you have a TSA precheck or Airline Rewards numbers, you MUST give those numbers to our reservations team at least 60 days before departure, otherwise they may not be applied.
Preferred seating may not be available on group air. In some cases, seats are not assigned until the airport. Your tour fare includes an economy seat on the flight; it does not include seat selection. Seat upgrades may be available at an additional cost.
To help make our tours the most comfortable in the business, we limit Sunrise Tours motorcoaches to 80% capacity, or 44 passengers on a coach built for 55. We reserve the right to amend this practice.
Your Tour Director will rotate seats on the motorcoach each day of your tour. A single fare does not guarantee two seats on coach; you may be seated next to another friendly Sunrise Tours guest.
